Facts of being a girl + Carousell

Girls are just born to be a shopaholic. Used to shop so much for clothes. Luckily I managed to control myself more now, by just staying at home or avoid going Bugis, or just psycho myself or whatever to prevent myself from buying shit stuffs. I just got this so called "illness" MUST BUY. Like someone trying hard to psycho me to buy the thing.

Like sometimes now I got some random thoughts like I FEEL LIKE BUYING SOME THINGS. So i just scroll those blogshops, gmarket, zalora, singsale or whatever website for few hours, I got things wanna buy add to the shopping carts, then lazy to make transaction. So, I'm like fine forget about it DON'T BUY! It's actually good right. So I'm still not that serious.

I believe most of the girls will have the same problem as me. Well at least most of my girl friends have the same problem as me too. So I'm not the only one :D

Scenarios when girls doing their basic routine, SHOPPING.

1. OMG so cheap! MUST BUY!!!! 不买白不买 , buy for the sake of buying it, since it's so cheap, just buy la. Never mind one, $2 only.... Then you ended up buying 10! And out of 10 probably you'll only wear 3. WASTE MONEY

2. When the lighting at the fitting room is totally different from your house's lighting. The mirror in the fitting room is not the same as your house's mirror. You think look absolutely gorg, absolutely fab when you are trying out the clothes before you purchase it. Then, once you got home, it's different case. You think you look absolutely fat, ugly and none of your top matches the bottom or vice versa. FML so what had happened?? Kena possessed when you were trying out the clothes?

3. Trying to be different from usual. Usually you are more like the casual type of person, a top, a high waisted shorts, slippers and off you go. Not casual till you seems like having a fashion crisis. Just not so fashion but acceptable nice look. Everyday you look people wearing a super nice super fashion outfit but it's not so your style and you go I SHOULD TRY THAT STYLE! And you bought it. After that you're like ermmmmmm I THINK THIS IS A BIT OVERRRRRRRR or DON'T THINK THIS SUITS ME THO =.=

4. When you shop at those place that you can't try those clothes it's even worse. Cz, 1, it's cheap. 2, you won't know if it fits you or not unless you failed so many times until you become so damn professional. Last time, when I used to shop in Bugis, I just buy when I think it suits me and the price is reasonable (below $10), ended up spending $70-100 for 10 clothes, then i'll only wear 6-7 of them. The leftover 3-4 will be forever in my wardrobe. It's either it really doesn't look good on you, too tight, too weird or not comfortable. But I was quite surprised, after so much failure I accumulated throughout 2012 and 2013, I found out that I improved this year when I shopped with my girl friend. LOL practice makes perfect

5. For shoes, I really suck. I bought 3 shoes this year for CNY. None of them I'm satisfied with. 1 almost killed me. Another one painful but still die die wanna wear. Another one just weird. It's really hard cz when you try on it you only walk a few steps. It's hard to tell. Maybe I'm not experience enough :(

And so my savior is CAROUSELL. One day, I discovered this app from someone on insta that I followed. I remembered that app but never really bother to try on it. Then one day I become really bueh tahan seeing all my clothes then I decided I NEED TO CLEAR ALL THOSE SHITS OUT!

So I began by capturing pictures of the things I wanted to sell and uploading it with the condition, size, price and stuffs of the item. At first, I'm really scared that no one might want to buy my stuffs. I was quite surprised that some people actually pm-ed me and asking for details. I got contacted immediately on that day I started and was so busy that night replying to comments lol. And yes so far I managed to sell 11-15 stuffs already. Not sure if it's a good result or not. But the most important thing is at least I got to clear 1/4 of my things liao.

Experiences dealing with buyers. So far so good, I believe I'm a good seller too. There's once there's a buyer interested in buying a shoe and she came to my place, we met up and I let her tried first before she decided to buy :D

Just a few times, I got pissed off due to some irresponsible buyers. Promised to meet up, then not answering my whatsapp.... and stuffs

Ok finally I have some time to blog. Hey everyone! I'm BACK! Had been so busy these days cz it's exam period. Fyi, my last paper is this Thursday! ASdjnsgkishgbskrgh I can't wait to finish lah! After that, there's awesome plans (in my brain), I hope it's going to be as awesome as it is planned in my brain. Not going to reveal it now, ok one of them is, SHOPPING lah!

Yes shopping, I think this entry is going to be another shopping post. God knows why I love shopping that much! I mean most of the girls LOVE to SHOP! Shopping is like heaven lah! Some more shop for cheap stuffs, INSANE! You know, it's year end, so my shopping is like crazier than usual. God knows how crazy it is. SHOP HARD, STUDY HARD, so tomorrow study hard, now play hard first! :D

So, last friday went to collect my 2nd batch of taobao loots. As you can see, it's all accessories. Quite satisfied :D Perfect service from them! Hehe now, I can't complain I got not enough accessories. Can't wait to wear them all!

Last Saturday, the OSF year end sale! Buy 2 free 1, everything for SGD 10! How can no go? So yes, I went! Me and my friends decided to meet at 10 am but I scared too early though the event starts at 11 am. Meet at 10 means I need wake up at 8 plus! I need sleep! So we postponed to 12. Then, girls are forever slow when it comes to dressing up nicely! We need to choose the perfect right outfit! We need to choose according to the weather, place, occasion, mood and ETC! Seriously, hard lah! After choosing, you need to fit. After you fit, you need to see. See the mirror. After that, not satisfied, CHANGE again! This is the fact! #girlsbeinggirls! So that's why girls took forever to step out of the house! That day, I still don't have that problem, but my dear friend, being super grandmother! Yes, in the end still manage to step out of the house and start travel! 

My OOTD

My another friend was there already, saying how crazy the queue was! Like the whole STREET! Please use your imagination!!! 9.30 am ppl start to queue (flea starts at 11), ppl queue all the way from the 4th floor down to the end of the street! THIS IS MAD!

Imagine, queuing under the hot sun, then up to the stairs suffocating and gasping for air. Bo bian, #girlsbeinggirls big sale must go! While they were queuing, me and my friend were still travelling and using our SG MAP aka GPS finding our way there. And when we reached there, we queue until duno where, we were too paiseh to join my another friend which was like wayyyyy infront! Then after queuing for like 20 minutes, I see the organizer tweeting like STOCKS RUNNING LOW! And we were like freaking behind the stupid long queue like the last two then infront still got like almost hundred of them? Then, later, there's staffs coming down, announcing that the stocks are running REAL LOW almost no stock and not sufficient for all the people queuing and we were still like the last few ppl in the queue. Then, people start leaving after queuing so hard. We still like don't give up, we follow the people infront of us, we went up! Inside was even crazier! Totally packed like hell! Like hard to move. Then in the basket is like totally nothing liao then once the staff restock, people like go insane snatching whatever there is without seeing what is it first. We like snatch first then say! No time for you to go slowly like should I take this or that! So I just get whatever it's passed to me LOL! But I super regret that I never get the damn expensive looking like heels! It's like some lace up heels, freaking nice and it's my size! I just thought I won't wear then I say i don't want when my friend passed it to me!  :( At last, I still manage to get 7 items :D I'm the lucky one. There's people queued for 2 hours and went home with nothing! POOR THING! The only thing I can say is, the crowd is crazy. 700 plus items are not enough!

After study, went to Bugis Street again cz friend wanna buy shoe. In the end, friend never buy shoe and it's me, buying clothes! Uhhh totally PHAILED

Those are things from the shopping haul. Nothing above SGD 10! *proud but without trying I'll still get some things that doesn't fit me well. I mean it looks nice bt not on me or some like too tight :(

This is the problem. Things at those fleas or Bugis is CHEAP but you can't try before you buy so, you won't know exactly how it looks on you! So sometimes, I'll still fail a bit, some times too tight, some times doesn't look good on me, and also other problems. So in the end, there's some clothes that I never wear them before and I just abandoned them inside the wardrobe. Like super pity. And some I'm still figuring out how to wear it nice! LOL still working hard. But some totally can't cz totally not my size! And some, I totally had no idea why I buy it cz it's totally not my style! Uhhh So, I think I wanna sell some of my stuffs. Needa find new owners for them! If interested, tell me :) Trying to see if really got some one wanna buy my things :')

That day, at Bugis Junction, spot this 2 young SG celebrities. Okay not spot is wait for like almost 1 hour. Cz we heard their names and decided to wait and see. Who knows, we wait like 30 minutes liao they still haven't come out then we refuse to leave cz we already wait for 30 minutes liao! So in the end, we waited for like 1 hour! Totally stupid! If it's some KPOP stars I got nothing to say but this.... ok erm yea so they are, ALOYSIUS PANG and KIMBERLY CHIA! There are really some "fan girls" there! Holding their fanboards written "ALOYSIUS". And I was thinking how crazy can they be. Surprisingly, they went silent when they appear. =.= Like no scream sound not even clapping sound. Uhh I should have cheered for them lol. Even when I took this picture, my friend already say me fangirl liao la! Don't say scream! lol Then, after that, went to study!

Then, another crazy thing for today. Etude House, having their clearance sale up to 60%!!!! Went after my exam! Things are really cheap SGD 1-10!!! CHEAP LAH! BB Cream, Toner, Facial stuffs one whole set for SGD 10! Lip balm lip tint for SGD 7! Eye shadow for SGD 3! It's crazy! The time I went the things were like 80% cleared! But I still managed to grab some! They say they gonna restock everyday so that means there's more for the upcoming 4 days! I should go on 21st! to see more :D

Okay, that's all! Tomorrow, gonna study HARD! Last paper on Thursday then I'm done!

Loha! I'm back! Blogging at this hour just to make sure I blog before tomorrow er I mean the next day? No, I mean before I got busy after I woke up. Finals are coming SOON that's Monday! Gonna go school tomorrow just to make sure I can concentrate 100% and study well and memorize well and score well! (fyi, tmr is SUNDAY) *puke

So today, Imma blog about my finally-arrived taobao loots. Kekekke like finally! My loots arrived like three weeks ago but unfortunately, I'm too busy and the meet-up for collection timing is just not good so yea. and last week I just missed the perfect timing. So TODAY I finally collected it. YAY!

Tada!!!! My Lootsssssss Lemme intro my loots to you. So basically, it's a yellow mustard one-way bag, a black small bag, one necklace, two arm candies for arm swag and one spike hair band.

Had been ordering stuffs from taobao through a Singapore agent, 65daigou. The service is awesome. It made ordering from taobao and those china sites easier and not complicated. You just sit in front of your computer, press press press, choose your stuffs, copy paste url at 65daigou, make your payment, done! Some more you can track your stuffs like from the web. Awesome right? Easy right? My next batch of accessories are gonna arrive soon I think? In one week time should be. :D

Surprisingly, the packaging is like AWESOME too! My bags come like perfectly as in not deformed! Then accessories too! Like no break! :D

So what I love the most is the mustard yellow bag. Soon, will have some outfit post with it. Then the black small bag, then the spike hairband! SUPER LOVE! Then, the neon spike arm candy! The necklace was fine, looks kinda different from the pic from the web but still fine for me :D Overall, still good :D 

Okay, bare with me, I'm just a happy girl with my LOOTS :D Just like a kid got their new toy. You know....

Now, I'm super excited for my next batch of new loots btw it's just all accessories. And another super freaking more exciting thing is, next SATURDAY, there's a END OF YEAR SALE by ohsofickle! I'm a big fan of them! Their outfits are AWESOME SWAG!

Motivation

Okay, yes, I just decided to blog. I got the motivation! Thanks to Esther. She's so sweet, commenting on my insta and told me that I should update my blog more frequently cz she enjoyed reading my blog. :'D *cryyyy this is so touching la! THANKS AGAIN ESTHER! This really make me happy :D

Okay so, hmmmm what should I blog? After my last USS post which is like erm 1 month and 10 days ago? I got things to blog but, not a lot.

I'll blog about no.1 first then. My first time going to a REAL FLEA. Had been thinking for so so long if I should go or not. It's a blogshop flea. I love blogshop stuffs so that's a motivation to go but I scared the price is like not that cheap as in below SGD 10 so I decided not to go some more exam coming soon. BUT just yesterday, my friend say she's going and she say the things there are selling like below SGD 15 so ok ON! So i studied last night so I can go today.

I had no idea where it is, so I followed my friend. And my cute friend sucks at directions. So she just walk according to what her friend told her to and I just followed. And we walk until almost the destination thr, my friend say IT SHOULD BE HERE. But we see nothing only a queue next to a taxi stand. And we were wondering is it the queue for the flea or it's just a TAXI QUEUE. And we two just decided it's a TAXI QUEUE. So we continued walking. But I was still thinking since when all those young teenage become so rich taking taxi huh? So after walking one big round, we just found out that that's not the taxi queue is the FLEA QUEUE! So, we just queued for like 40 minutes to get in!

Totally like a high class market! Super squeeze! SUPER DUPER! Totally bringing the wrong bag. Cz the bag is super ding deh like that! Sling it behind, people squeeze, kena my bag = PUSH ME! So, I kena push damn a lot of times today. Some more it's really people mountain people sea, stuck in some places like quite a few times. Must like gan gan chiong like that or else, you'll take ages to move to another booth. People go super early go get the best, nice items. But if go later, the things will go from SGD 10/15 to SGD 5. So go late also good.

Brought SGD 50 only cz I don't wanna spend too much today cz I wanna save it for Bugis! kekeke but I kinda regret cz I wanted to buy more but in the end I got so exhausted also because of the crowd and I just bought 9 stuffs.

Out of 9, I'm happy only with 2? Totally like one only got 2. Others like okok like that. There's one, the most expensive item I bought today, which is SGD 12, the asymmetrical dress, I totally in love with it, but after I try, I feel like it's a bit tight and it makes me look fat :( BUT I'LL TRY TO WEAR! Another one, at the top left corner, the white singlet top, which is what I got with another black top, for 2 for 5 dollar, I totally got no idea why I buy it cz it's so not my style! Luckily my friend still wanna buy from me so one clea, money back :D Then others, just like normal, nothing too fashion or too special just SIMPLE. But I damn love the pink, white top with the tiger print one. It's a cropped top. I thought it would be a bit tight but who knows, it's fine a bit regret I didn't get another flowery one :( I'll show my items next time when I got to wear it.

Shopping and Outfits!

Okay good that I kept my promise to blog about my outfits and shopping in Singapore. So, today will be an outfit and shopping post! EXCITED!

September was my b'day month so, I promised to buy somethings for my own b'day present. So, I was so excited to shop when I first got back to Singapore. When I got back, I think I just straight went shopping on the second day. First, I went Far East Plaza. I always love to go Blogshopping to shop on their outfits. Okay basically is the whole Far East Plaza cz Far East Plaza got lots of shop selling blogshop stuffs at blogshop price. So I damn love Far East stuffs but the price is still a bit too pricey for me, as a Malaysian some more a student cz it's always x2.5! Sometimes the price is like crazy! Besides, Far East is a good place to shop for shoes! They got CHEAP SHOES! Cheapest I saw is like $9.90?! And I damn love the Taiwanese Ji Pai there! So what I bought from Far East this month? Basically, it's a skullhead tank top, black pullover, rainbow neon knitter and a black shorts.

Okay next is BUGIS! I swear! Every girl who go to Bugis will definitely gone cray cray just like me. Maybe boys too! Every thing is like $10? $12? $15? $18? $20? $22? Cheap cheap cheap! But it's BUGIS VILLAGE! Not BUGIS JUNCTION! So basically, I gave up on Blogshopping! Bugis is still the best! Cz 1 from Blogshopping = 3 from BUGIS! So why not buy more at the same price? BUT ofcz Blogshopping style is nicer lo and some more you can try. Bugis is no try! So, you must think carefully before you buy though the things are cheap. I believe you won't want to buy a thing then you bring it home, you found out that it's not comfy and it doesn't suit you and you put there, you feel so BAD! So again, what I got from there?

7 tops and 1 dress. Okay honestly,errrrrr I think I only wear before 4 of them others I still can't get the right taste perhaps? Printed tees are casual and not so bad for the cutting just that the material is like damn hot! The two tees come with the mustard long sleeves half cut top, 3 for $20! There's like no reason not to buy? But I damn love the mustard yellow top!

Damn love this chiffon spaghetti straps top! It's hmm good for hot weather like Singapore? Wore the outer long sleeve cz the button behind the chiffon spaghetti just drop when I was wearing it without unbutton the button cz I thought I can fit in without unbutton it but who knows, my head is too big. So great, I need to sew it back now. Luckily the button is still with me :)

Outfit to scape. 

My dear friend kept on persuading me to go to a flea cz they got cheap stuffs! So, I googled it! And I found out that one of the place that has a flea is SCAPE! Every week they got flea during weekends. So, I managed to persuade my other friend to accompany me go, cz she also wanted to go. Under win win situation, we both went. Flea, it's supposed to sell like second hand stuff at cheaper price. So I expect there's stuffs around $1-$10. But it just disappoint me, it's brand new blogshop stuffs at almost blogshop price! But I still manage to get a shorts at $5. It's kinda, a bit tight but still fine for me. Still wanna get it cz it's only $5! So maybe next time, I'll choose to go for only the special events at SCAPE instead of those every week ones.

Next, a must go place which I think most of those foreigners who come to Singapore won't know place is Anchor Point. It's located at Queenstown. Anchor Point got 6 outlets which are FOX, Giordano, G2000, Pedro, Charles and Keith and Cotton On. Basically it's not that much but if you are a big fan of Cotton On and Charles and Keith, you MUST GO! Charles and Keith I think they got more discount. 

The bag I got is around $39.90 it's after discount so the ori price is like $69.90? If I'm not mistaken. For a bag, it's fine to get at a higher price cz a bag you may use for quite long and you won't want your bag handle to break when you carrying it when you are walking or what. So, yea. 

Next, Cotton On it's like crazy! I swear I never buy before such cheap clothes like $1 the cheapest? The best time is the time when I bought 7 outfits at $20+. That's too shiok! They got things like $2/$5/$10 and BUY 1 FREE 1 months ago! AND THAT'S CRAZY! So, me and my friends went cray cray, fitting and buying until the shop almost close. So main point is, you won't feel so bad if the $1 shirt you bought doesn't fit you right? After I know the existence of that shop, my closet is like full of cotton on things. Perhaps a blog on Cotton On Outlet store next time? And I just spotted some AWESOME stuffs there but I didn't buy cz I promise not to shop for this month. I spot like maxi dress for ONLY $10! And a tank top that drop from $10 to $5 and a damn chio chiffon long sleeve collar top at $15! Please don't go grab it cz Imma get it next month!!! Please wait for me pleasy pleaseee!

Chiffon top that suits like damn well with my jeggings. At first I thought like it's so ugly at the sleeves there but I can't don't buy it cz it's only $10 some more BUY 1 FREE 1. Okay, typical auntie type! Like BUY 1 FREE 1 must GET! Luckily it fits my jeggings which I bought also from a random pushcart at Anchor Point at $16.90. It's damn comfy and easy to go with anything! I wanna get some other colour!

 So, spotted my loafer? Yes, my blue loafer from a random store at Parkway. But you still can get it at Far East Plaza.

Basically, that's just a simple part on shopping in Singapore. So called budget shopping maybe?
